About Juanita Fourie

After matriculating from Hoërskool Linden with 7 distinctions, I went on to study BScPhysiotherapy at the University of Witwatersrand. After graduating in 2020, I completed my community service at Tshwane Rehabilitation hospital. This institution specializes in the treatment of patients (both adults and pediatrics) who sustained spinal cord injuries and/or neurological fallouts as well as patient who underwent limb amputations.

In January 2022 I started working full-time at a private practice in Krugersdorp. Our services included treating out-patients at Medicross Krugersdorp as well as treating and rehabilitating sport related injuries at Hoërskool Noordheuwel.

I was granted a life-changing opportunity to become a practice owner in June 2022. The practice is located on the premises of Hoërskool Linden - a place very near to my heart.

During the years I have been practicing physio, I soon realized that I enjoy rehabilitating patients back into their social environment or finding their "new normal" within society. I truly enjoy working with children going through adolescents.

During 2022 I have been doing locum work monthly for two separate practices. Treating in-patient care for patient who underwent hip - and/or knee replacements at one institution. At the other institution I provide care for patients in medical, thoracic and cardio ICU.

I believe in treating patients holistically in order to achieve their best possible rehabilitation outcome. I love working with and helping people. Building relationships with my patients is important to me.
